If money weren't a problem at all, what kind of a wedding would you want? Think back to weddings you've attended. What stands out in your memory? What touched your heart? Write these things down as you remember them.
How do you want the guests to feel at your wedding? What kind of music do you want played? Can you picture the flowers? What are they? Roses? Close your eyes, can you smell their fragrances?
You should start thinking about themes. There are traditional, such as Hearts and Flowers, Cupid and Love Doves, or Winter Wonderland. Some of the nontraditional party themes for the reception include Polynesian, the fifties, the Roaring tw3enties, or a ship's Cruise. The theme for the wedding should be fairly traditional, but the trend for the reception has been to toss out the old ideas and bring in the new.
